- MISON® 8
-
Ar + 8% CO2 + 0,03% NO
- Used for MAG welding of unalloyed and low-alloyed steel with solid wire electrodes or metal powder cored wire electrodes
- Intended primarily for spray-arc and pulse welding
- Provides high welding speed with little spray and surface slag
- Best choice for highest possible productivity in robotized or mechanized welding as well as in high productive MAG welding (RAPID PROCESSING).
- High-energy welding generally produces considerably higher amounts of ozone, which is why it is especially beneficial to use an ozone-reducing shielding gas such as MISON® 8
- Marking EN ISO 14175-Z-ArC+NO-8/0.03. Corresponding to Group M20
- Valve thread W 24.32 x 1/14" H exterior
- MISON® N2
-
Ar + 1,8 N2 + 30% He + 0,03% NO
- Used for TIG welding of duplex stainless steel and other nitrogen-alloyed stainless steel, e.g. super austenitic steel.
- Nitrogen in the shielding gas limits nitrogen losses in the weld pool, affording improved corrosion resistance and strength properties
- Can also be used for MIG welding of super austenitic and super duplex steel
- Helium increase the fluidity of the melt
- Eliminates damaging ozone formation in connection with welding
- Marking; EN ISO 14175-Z-ArHeN+NO-30/1.8/0.03. Corresponds to Group N2
- Valve thread W 24.32 x 1/14" H exterior
- MISON® 2
-
Ar + 2% CO2 + 0,03% NO
- Intended for MAG welding of stainless steel and especially for normal austenitic steel (AISI 304 and 316), ferritic steel as well as duplex steel of standard quality
- Suitable for welding with short arc, spray arc or pulsed arc
- Little spray and surface slag, good penetration and a smooth weld
- Eliminates damaging ozone formation in connection with welding
- Marking; EN ISO 14175-Z-ArC+NO-2/0.03. Corresponds to Group M12
- Valve thread W 24.32 x 1/14" H exterior
- MISON® H2
-
Ar + 2% H2 + 0.03% NO
- Used for TIG welding of austenitic and super austenitic stainless steel, as well as nickel-based alloys
- Hydrogen creates a hotter and more concentrated arc, which means higher welding speed, improved penetration and better transition between weld reinforcements and the base material
- Reduces the formation of surface oxides
- Eliminates damaging ozone formation in connection with welding
- Marking; EN ISO 14175-Z-ArH+NO-2/0.03. Corresponds to Group R1
- Valve thread W 24.32 x 1/14" H exterior
- MISON® 25
-
Ar + 25%CO2 + 0.03% NO
- Used for MAG welding of unalloyed and low-alloyed steel with solid wire electrodes or flux cored wire electrodes
- In connection with short arc welding produces a weld pool which is easy to control
- Tolerates impurities on the weld surface better than other mix gases with regard to spray arc welding
- Creates little spray, smoother weld and higher welding speed than pure carbon dioxide
- The most oxidizing gas of the mixed gases, creates the most slag
- Recommended particularly for short arc welding
- Eliminates damaging ozone formation in connection with welding.
- Marking; EN ISO 14175-Z-ArC+NO-25/0.03. Corresponds to Group M21
- Valve thread W 24.32 x 1/14" H exterior
- MISON® 2He
-
Ar + 2% CO2 + 30% He + 0.03% NO
- Designed for MAG welding of the majority of austenitic steels (AISI 304 and 316), ferritic steel as well as duplex steel of standard quality
- Suitable for welding with short arc, spray arc or pulsed arc
- Creates little spatter and surface slag and provides improved penetration and smoother welds
- Good for welding in larger material thicknesses
- Suitable also for MIG soldering of galvanized steel
- Eliminates damaging ozone formation in connection with welding
- Marking; EN ISO 14175-Z-ArHeC+NO-30/2/0.03. Corresponds to Group M12
- Valve thread W 24.32 x 1/14" H exterior
- MISON® He30
-
Ar + 30% He + 0.03% NO
- Specially produced for TIG and MIG welding of aluminum
- More stable arc compared with other helium mixtures
- Increased penetration and smoother welds compared to gases without helium
- Enables increased welding speed and thereby less weld distortions
- Also used for TIG welding of other materials, e.g. stainless steel, unalloyed and low-alloyed steel as well as copper.Should not be used as a root protection gas
- Provides a better working environment through reduced ozone content.
- Marking; EN ISO 14175-Z-ArHe+NO-30/0.03. Corresponds to Group I3
- Valve thread W 24.32 x 1/14" H exterior
